How BRANDED IAM monitors your network 24/7, what alerts we watch for, and what happens when an issue is detected.
Network monitoring means continuously watching your internet connection, routers, switches, and connected devices for signs of trouble — before those signs become outages. Our monitoring runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
What We Monitor
- Internet connectivity: Continuous checks to detect outages or significant degradation in your internet connection.
- Network device health: CPU, memory, and temperature readings from managed routers and switches.
- Bandwidth utilization: Alerts when network usage spikes unexpectedly, which can indicate a security issue or a bandwidth-heavy process impacting your team.
- DNS resolution: Confirms that your domain's DNS is resolving correctly at all times.
- Unauthorized devices: Alerts when a device that isn't in your inventory connects to your network.
What Happens When an Alert Fires
Minor alerts (brief slowdowns, a single failed check) are logged and reviewed in your monthly report without immediate action. Sustained alerts that indicate a real issue trigger a ticket automatically in our system. Your on-call technician investigates within 30 minutes. If the issue is causing a service outage, they'll contact you directly via phone.
You can view current network health in your portal under IT Dashboard → Network Status if this feature is enabled for your plan.
