BRANDED IAM's billing is handled through Stripe, which generates detailed receipts that serve as documentation for business expense reporting. Here's what you need to know for tax time.
Downloading Receipts
Every invoice and payment confirmation is stored in your portal under Billing → Invoice History. Each invoice can be downloaded as a PDF that includes all required information for expense documentation: vendor name, address, EIN, itemized charges, and payment confirmation. You can download any invoice at any time — there's no limit on historical downloads.
What's Included on Receipts
- BRANDED IAM's business name, address, and EIN.
- Your business name and billing address.
- Itemized description of services provided.
- Payment amount and date confirmed.
- Invoice number for accounting reference.
Tax-Exempt Organizations
If your organization is tax-exempt (nonprofit, government entity), contact [email protected] with your tax exemption certificate. Once verified, we'll update your account to suppress applicable sales tax on future invoices. Retroactive tax exemption for past invoices is handled on a case-by-case basis.
W-9 Requests
If your accounting team requests a W-9 from BRANDED IAM for 1099 filing purposes, email [email protected] and we'll provide a signed W-9 within 2 business days.
