How BRANDED IAM enrolls and manages your business computers and laptops, what remote management enables, and how to add a new device.
Device management is the practice of centrally controlling and securing all computers and mobile devices used by your business. Through Microsoft Intune (included with Business Premium licenses), we can manage your devices without needing physical access to them.
What Device Enrollment Enables
- Remote software deployment: We can install or remove software on any enrolled device without disrupting the user's work.
- Patch management: OS and software updates are pushed automatically on a schedule, ensuring all devices stay current.
- Remote wipe: If a device is lost or stolen, we can remotely erase all business data without needing physical access to the device.
- Security policy enforcement: We can require screen lock PINs, disable USB storage, and enforce encryption (BitLocker) from the management console.
- Inventory visibility: Every enrolled device appears in your monthly IT health report with its current status.
How to Enroll a New Device
Submit a ticket under IT Support & Security → Device Enrollment with the device's make, model, and the user it's assigned to. We'll email the user a one-click enrollment link that installs the management agent in about 10 minutes. The user doesn't need to be technical — the process is wizard-driven.
Personal Devices (BYOD)
If employees use personal devices for work, we can enroll them in a limited "work profile" mode that manages only the work-related apps and data, leaving personal content completely separate and private. Contact your account manager to enable BYOD enrollment.
