How to connect Microsoft 365 apps with third-party business tools BRANDED IAM supports, including CRMs, accounting software, and project management platforms.
Microsoft 365 is the hub of most business operations, and it integrates natively or through connectors with hundreds of other business applications. BRANDED IAM can configure and support these integrations as part of your managed IT service.
Common Microsoft 365 Integrations
- Microsoft Teams + third-party apps: We can add apps directly to your Teams workspace — project management tools like Asana or Monday.com, ticketing systems, HR platforms, and more.
- Outlook + CRM: Connect Outlook to Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRMs so emails and calendar events sync automatically without manual data entry.
- OneDrive + document collaboration: Configure co-authoring settings, external sharing policies, and sync clients across your team's devices.
- Power Automate flows: Automate repetitive processes — for example, automatically create a task when an email with a specific subject arrives, or sync data between forms and spreadsheets.
How to Request an Integration
Submit a ticket under Technical & Integrations → Microsoft 365 Integration. Describe what you want to connect and what the business goal is (what manual process should this automate or improve?). Our team will assess the integration method, permissions needed, and provide a timeline.
Security Considerations
Every third-party app connected to Microsoft 365 receives OAuth permissions to your tenant. We review all app permissions before authorizing and remove integrations that are no longer used. An inventory of authorized third-party apps is reviewed as part of your quarterly IT health review.
