An overview of what data BRANDED IAM collects, how it's used, how it's stored, and who has access to it.
BRANDED IAM collects and processes certain data in the course of providing services to you. We take data handling seriously — this article explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected.
What We Collect
- Account data: Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing address — collected when you sign up and maintained throughout your relationship with us.
- Service data: Information generated through service delivery — support ticket content, project files you upload, IT monitoring logs for managed devices, and website analytics data.
- Payment data: Billing information is processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. BRANDED IAM does not store your full card number or CVV on our servers.
- Usage data: Portal login activity, feature usage patterns, and communication logs used to improve our service and support operations.
How We Use Your Data
- To deliver and manage the services you've subscribed to.
- To communicate with you about your account, tickets, projects, and invoices.
- To improve our service quality based on aggregate usage patterns.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, security incident reporting).
Who Has Access
Your data is accessible only to BRANDED IAM team members who need it to service your account, and to third-party services we use to deliver our services (Stripe for billing, Resend for email, Microsoft Azure for hosting). We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. See our article on Third-Party Data Sharing Policy for the complete list of sub-processors.
Data Retention
Account and service data is retained for 7 years after account closure for legal and tax purposes. IT monitoring logs are retained for 12 months. Support ticket content is retained indefinitely as part of your service history.
